Free Consultation

YES!

I do offer free initial consultations under most circumstances:

  • I offer free initial consultations to people who have an actual or potential need for legal services based upon their own present circumstances.

  • You must be an Illinois resident, have a potential case against an Illinois resident, have a situation that occurred in Illinois or one that involves Illinois Law. I am not licensed to practice law anywhere outside the State of Illinois.

  • All consultations are completely confidential.

  • I will share my thoughts on your situation, including my thoughts on topics such as whether you have a case, need an attorney, whether or not I would be willing to take your case, how I would approach your case and what you should expect to pay for legal services.

NO!

I am not a free lawyer, and my time is limited.

  • I will not discuss hypothetical questions, cases in the media or other people's business that does not involve you.

  • I will not attempt to teach anyone how to do things that normally require the skills of an experienced attorney.

  • Only one free initial consultation per situation or person will be offered.

  • I cannot answer questions that present me with a potential conflict of interest. For that reason, I cannot answer annonymous questions.

  • I reserve the right to decline or limit any free consultation or request for service.
